Phoenix Shop Owner Jim Atkinson Wins Again

Motorists seeking quality auto repair have a resource thanks to AAA’s 2013 Top Shops list.    MACS Board Member, Jim Atkinson has won the award again. Three in a row, with a total of 6 in the 12 years of the  AAA’s program.  For the last 3 years, Jim has “passed” on the note book presentation promoting his shop.  Instead, Jim produced a DVD movie for his shop. Jim says, ” Making the movie, editing and laying down sound tracks is a lot more fun than the book report styles of the past.  I used video customer testimonials, and each employee had a chance to tell their story about working in the auto repair business. It’s a lot of fun making some short movies about me!” he added. The Car Repair Company, was the only AAA approved shop in Scottsdale to win this year.  Jim is celebrating his 32nd year in business after purchasing the shop from his father Ward Atkinson in 2003. The Car Repair Company has been part of the AAA Approved Facilities since 1981.
